About this watch
The Datejust 41 in Oystersteel with the slate and green Roman-numeral dial collectors call the Wimbledon — the reference that made a 41 mm Datejust feel modern without losing the shape that has carried the model since 1945.
This one is the smooth-bezel configuration. Against the fluted version it reads considerably quieter: the light stays on the dial and the green numerals rather than breaking up across the bezel, which is what makes this the Datejust that works with a suit and with a t-shirt.
Bought directly from its owner here in Orange County and complete as a full 2025 set. Inspected in hand before listing — the calibre 3235 is running to specification, and the case retains its factory lines with no evidence of polishing.
Condition report
Excellent throughout. Case and lugs sharp with original factory finishing and no signs of polishing. Bezel and crystal free of chips. Bracelet has minimal stretch with the clasp closing crisply. Light handling marks consistent with careful wear are visible under magnification only. Movement running within specification on the timegrapher; date changes cleanly at midnight.
We write up the flaws as well as the good. If something is not original or not present, it is stated here rather than left for you to find.

Common questions
Is this watch authentic?
Yes, and it is guaranteed in writing. This watch was bought directly from a private seller in Southern California and verified in hand before listing — movement, serial and reference checked, case and bracelet examined under magnification. If it is ever shown not to be genuine, we refund the full purchase price with no time limit.
Why is the wire price lower than the card price?
Card payments cost us roughly 3% in processing, and we pass that through at cost rather than building it into every price. Paying by bank wire, Zelle or cash on local collection saves you $360 on this watch. Email us and we will send wire instructions the same day.
Is $12,000 a fair price for a Rolex Datejust 41 — Wimbledon Dial?
Comparable examples of reference 126300 currently trade between $11,000 and $14,000 (current dealer and marketplace asking prices, August 2026). Our wire price is $12,000. We can price at the lower end because we buy direct from private sellers and own the piece outright — there is no consignor to pay and no showroom overhead to recover.
Can I see more photographs before I buy?
Yes. Ask and we will send additional photographs, the serial number, and a video of it running the same day. We would rather you saw everything first — that is cheaper for both of us than a return.
How is it shipped, and is it insured?
Fully insured, signature-required overnight shipping is included anywhere in the United States, dispatched the next business day after payment clears. It is insured for the full purchase price the entire time it is in transit. Local collection in Orange County can be arranged by appointment.
What if it is not right when it arrives?
You have fourteen days from delivery. Have it inspected by any authorised dealer or independent watchmaker you like. If you are not happy, send it back in the condition it shipped and we refund the purchase price in full — there is no restocking fee.
What is included?
This Rolex Datejust 41 — Wimbledon Dial is listed as Full Set — the watch, its original box, and its papers or warranty card as issued. Anything not present is stated in the condition report rather than left for you to discover.
