About this watch

Datejust 41 with the Wimbledon dial. Smooth domed bezel, sapphire with Cyclops, screw-down Oyster case back, 100 m.

Wimbledon is the slate dial with green Roman numerals. It arrived in 2019 and has been among the harder Datejust dials to get at retail ever since. Authorised waitlists are long, so most of them trade at a premium to list.

Smooth bezel over fluted. Quieter watch, and the way the market has been leaning for a few years.

Clasp has the Easylink extension: about 5 mm of on-the-fly adjustment without a jeweller. Useful in summer.

Condition report

Excellent throughout. Case and lugs sharp with original factory finishing and no signs of polishing. Bezel and crystal free of chips. Bracelet has minimal stretch with the clasp closing crisply. Light handling marks consistent with careful wear are visible under magnification only. Movement running within specification on the timegrapher; date changes cleanly at midnight.
